The FERNANDOs Family
A truly blessed family, that's what we are, the MANALOs. We believed we are  formed in GOD's hands. That started with our parents. GOD gave us Donata our mother  who devoted her life in taking care of us, teaching us how to pray and trust our Lord  She taught us to live with simplicity. Our father Fernando then is a noble man who  taught us to trust ourselves also, that's why he did everything to bring us to college  education. His belief in education will make us better persons, the only wealth he could  leave us which we can share with anyone but will stay with us and the thing that  could really equip us to all kinds of battles that we will go through.
This family grew with the word SHARE. Our mother like my father knew how to  really share. My mother was a good cook and she often shares no secret her recipes to  everyone who asked for it. Our vegetable garden even the ornamental was open to all  who needed it without any string attached. Our father truly shared his time, finances and  even our home and the food on our table for the needy. That's why he lived the  longest term being the leader in our village and has been called the little mayor  being the President of all the villages (Barangay) chairmen in our city. He is a  master in public relation and his honesty and generosity became his legacy. He is a  truly popular and reputable politician in his time.
No predicament came in our life our family did not solve. Even the early death of  our parents did not hamper us to try more. We continue to share even the smallest we  have. Believing and trusting that GOD is there for us, we continue to help the  younger siblings to pursue college education. And the dream of our parents became a  reality to us now. All their children got college degrees, living with simplicity, and  still the word SHARE is alive in our hearts.
Trusting GOD and sharing what this family have made our family a remarkable one. To GOD be all the Glory!
